Z-Islamica: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal that seeks to advance scholarly research in the diverse and dynamic fields of Islamic studies. The journal serves as a platform for high-quality academic discourse that critically explores Islam as a religion, civilization, intellectual tradition, and lived reality.

Z-Islamica is committed to publishing original, conceptual, and empirical research that contributes to the global understanding of Islam and Muslim societies, both in classical and contemporary contexts. Z-Islamica encourages interdisciplinary approaches and critical engagement from diverse academic perspectives, including theology, law, philosophy, anthropology, sociology, history, political science, and economics. The journal accepts manuscripts in English, Arabic, and Bahasa Indonesia.
All submitted articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and are evaluated based on their academic quality, relevance, clarity, and contribution to the field of Islamic studies.
