Authors who publish with Z-Conomics: Journal on Islamic Economics, Finance, and Banking agree to the following terms:

1. Copyright Retention
   Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) that allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) the work for any purpose, even commercially, with appropriate credit to the original author(s) and source.

2. Right to Self-Archive
   Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal websites) before and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.

3. Author’s Warranties
   Authors warrant that:

   • The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

   • The submitted work does not infringe any existing copyright, trademark, or other legal rights of any third party.

   • Proper acknowledgment of the work of others has been given.

4. Journal Rights
   The journal is granted non-exclusive publishing rights, including the right to reproduce and distribute the article in printed and electronic formats, and to index the content in international databases.
