Peer Review Process

Az-Zahra International Proceeding implements a rigorous double-blind peer review system to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all submitted manuscripts. The review process is designed to be fair, transparent, and constructive.

  1. Initial Screening
Upon submission, the editorial team conducts a preliminary check to ensure the manuscript meets the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards.

  2. Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.

  3. Double-Blind Review
Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to prevent bias.

  4. Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity, significance of findings, and adherence to ethical guidelines.

  5. Decision Making
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board decides to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript.

  6. Revision and Final Acceptance
Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscript according to reviewers’ feedback. The revised manuscript may undergo further review before final acceptance.

  7. Publication
Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the production stage and is published in the upcoming issue.

This peer review process helps maintain high academic standards and supports the continuous improvement of scholarly work published in the proceeding.
